I won’t sugarcoat it - building a business (and life) you love isn’t always easy.
There are moments when everything flows, and it feels like the universe is cheering you on… and then there are the days when you feel completely stuck, questioning everything, wondering if it’s all worth it.
And in those moments, the temptation is strong to stop. To put things on hold. To retreat.
But here’s what I’ve learned - the only way out is through.
If I’m being honest, I’ve had moments where I wanted to walk away from things I deeply cared about.
Not because I didn’t love what I was building, but because the obstacles felt too big. The fear of failure. The doubt that crept in. The uncertainty of whether it would all work out.
And in the past, I have avoided things. I’ve delayed decisions, pushed things to the side, convinced myself it “wasn’t the right time.”
But the truth? The longer you avoid something, the more power it holds over you.
The thing you’re afraid to face doesn’t disappear - it just lingers, getting heavier and more intimidating the longer you ignore it.
The only way to move past it is to go through it.
What if the thing that feels like it’s blocking you… is actually preparing you?
Every major breakthrough in my life and business has come after I faced something difficult:
✔️ The fear of launching something new
✔️ The self-doubt before making a bold decision
✔️ The discomfort of stepping outside my comfort zone
Every time I chose to move through the hard stuff instead of avoiding it, I came out on the other side stronger, clearer, and more confident.
So if you’re feeling stuck right now - like you’re in the middle of something you don’t know how to get through - know that you’re exactly where you need to be.
The discomfort? It’s not a stop sign. It’s a signal that you’re growing.
If you’re currently feeling resistance or struggling to move forward, here are some things that help me:
💡 1. Acknowledge it. Avoiding or ignoring resistance just makes it stronger. Recognising it is the first step.
💡 2. Get curious. Ask yourself: What am I afraid of here? Is it failure? Judgment? Not feeling “ready”? Naming the fear helps to take away its power.
💡 3. Take the smallest next step. You don’t need to have it all figured out - just take one step forward. Action dissolves fear.
💡 4. Trust that clarity comes through action. You won’t have all the answers before you start. Trust that things will become clearer as you move forward.
💡 5. Remember: You’ve done hard things before. Think back to a time when you faced something difficult and got through it. You are far more capable than you realise.
